The practical part
Shipping & returns.
Short version: every Zero Elements order is placed and fulfilled through our Amazon storefront — Amazon’s checkout, Amazon’s delivery speed, Amazon’s return window. The longer version follows.
Shipping
- Where you order
- All products — the sourdough starter and every garment — are sold exclusively on our Amazon storefront. The buttons across this site take you straight there.
- Speed & cost
- Delivery estimates, shipping costs and Prime eligibility are shown on each Amazon listing at checkout — Prime members typically see two-day delivery.
- Where it's made
- The culture is still grown, dried and hand-packed in small batches in Dover, Delaware, whichever warehouse it ships from.
- Tracking
- Amazon handles tracking end-to-end — you'll find it in your Amazon orders, with their delivery notifications.
Returns & support
- Garments
- Returns and size exchanges run through Amazon's standard returns process — start one from your Amazon orders page, in Amazon's return window.
- The starter
- As a food product, the sealed jar can't be restocked once shipped. But if your culture won't wake up, write to us directly — reviving it is almost always possible, and if it truly can't be, we make it right. You will not be left with dead flakes.
- Talk to a person
- Amazon handles the logistics; we handle the craft. For anything about the products themselves — reviving a starter, choosing a size, care questions — email hello@zeroelements.com and a person answers.
- Damaged in transit
- Use Amazon's replacement flow for the fastest resolution — and feel free to tell us too, so we can check the batch.
The quiet promise behind all of it: if something we made doesn’t meet the standard on this site, we make it right. That’s what a short ingredient list buys — there’s nowhere to hide.
